We are very pleased how she developed after only five month at our farm.
Smoot as first freshener
Udder April 2009 after kidding with triplet bucks, we are very pleased
When we visited the Longman's in May, we liked Smoot's dam Shaniya very much and wanted to have a doe kid out of her. When we got the chance to add Smoot to our herd, we had not to think twice. She lacked a bit in body capacity and were told this was because she had a sand impaction as a kid. After some tlc, turned out she has a very nice body capacity we have seen in her dam. Shanaiya is a very tall and powerful Doe and so was her Sire Serenade's Salute.
Smoot is bred to Gundobald and with a confirmed due date for August 2nd through biotracking. Smoot also tested negative for cae in 2009 and 2010.
